Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Seven - Bayliss 62'

With Seven's aft fuel tank, gyro and cabin installations complete, our exterior carpentry crew turned their focus to planking the bow deck and developing the flybridge arrangement.
Over the course of March, the bow deck was planked and glassed. It now sits in epoxy. Once it is primed, our crew will begin on the toe rail installation.
In early March, the aft bulkhead was installed on Seven's cabin, accelerating the shift of the cockpit's appearance and allowing our crews to develop the cockpit and engine room companionway. We are currently fabricating the cockpit deck and fishbox. The engine room companionway has been built and faired.
The cabin’s interior is currently in various stages of glassing and priming. The salon and galley areas are glassed in preparation for fairing and primer. Within the lower level, each space is now blanketed in primer.
With glassing, fairing, and primer complete on Seven's lower levels, our interior carpentry crew is in the process of laying out and fabricating and the cabinetry. The crew is focusing on everything from bunks to galley cabinets. Our electrical crew is also planning their next move for wire runs, as lower level buildout begins.
On the flybridge, buildout continues on the console, as our exterior carpentry crew cuts and fits the console doors, waterways, and electronics dash.
In the month ahead, we will focus on moving each interior section into paint, installing the cockpit deck, and fabricating the toe rail.
