Tarheel's build crew has jumped quickly into the fabrication of the interior spaces in equal progression from the machine tunnel to the lazarette.
The machine tunnel is framing up quickly, and the faces for both the freshwater and blackwater tanks have been fit and installed. The lazarette progress is most active where the rudder port and shelves are being installed. Just forward, the walls of the aft gyro surround are up, which will soon house one of two Seakeeper 6's.
In the engine room, we are installing the generator and pump room shelving, bilge boxes, and battery boxes. The patterns for the engines will be set up soon, as Tarheel will be receiving her pair of MTU 12V engines (each with 1920hp) the same day that Blue View receives her MTUs in late September.
