Bayliss 62' checked off a milestone in late July with the infamous whiskey plank. The final plank on her hull completed what is standard for all Bayliss hulls- three layers of cold-molded okoume plywood on the bottom and two layers on the hull sides.
With the cabin and bridge assembled, glassed and faired, our paint crew applied black mask paint and moved the cabin outside where she will cure over the course of the next month.
In mid July, the bow thruster, sea chests, and spray rail were installed, making way for bottom glassing. Over the next couple of weeks, the hull will be glassed, faired, and ready for her flip in late August!
