Progress on Big Deal continues as the cockpit and mezzanine, now fully primed, have been outfitted with a teak bullnose, teak decking, and teak mezzanine lids by our exterior carpentry team. On the bridge, the console buildout advances, with forward seating fabrication now complete.

In the lower accommodations, the interior carpentry team has started installing bunks and cabinetry in the port stateroom. Next, our paint crews will prepare Big Deal for her next major milestone: a full paint job.

Looking ahead, our paint team will continue fairing, preparing for priming and painting to begin in the machine tunnel.

Exciting progress is underway on Bayliss 64. The hull carpentry team has shaped and sanded the stringers and chine, while aft, the prop tunnel coosa has been installed and laminated. On the hull bottom, the first layer of planking is complete, with the second layer in progress.

Once the bottom is fully planked, the team will move forward with planking the rest of the hull working towards an exciting milestone- the whiskey plank!
