Bayliss Boatworks new construction updates
by Bayliss Boatworks 2 Sep 2024 18:44 UTC
After a successful first sea trial earlier this month, our interior carpentry team jumped back onto
Max Bet
to assist with the installation of granite countertops in the lower staterooms. Finishing touches are coming together for both the interior and exterior, with her bootstripe now complete on the hull bottom.
The DekIt team joined us this month to install nonskid foam decking in the engine room, which includes
Max Bets
signature poker chip design. We look forward to welcoming Everett Nautical in the coming weeks to complete the transom artwork!

mezzanine, with our exterior crew beginning the tackle center buildout, and service locker buildouts port and starboard. Our paint crew has completed spraying the interior brow on the bridge, which will include customized rod storage port and starboard upon completion. On the transom, our electrical team has now installed the underwater lights.

With
Tarheels
cabin glassed to the hull, our exterior department has now installed the salon bulkhead and bow deck, with the anchor locker buildout also underway. In the salon, airboxes have been installed, which will provide fresh air ventilation for the engine room and pump room, as well as combustion air required by the main engines and generators. Up next, our paint and exterior teams will begin fairing in the lower accommodations.

After our celebratory Whiskey Plank last month, our hull carpentry team has been hard at work glassing, sanding, and applying Superbuild to

hull bottom. With the spray rails now installed, glassing on the hull will begin.
