Salty Tiger is approaching her delivery date as we move into June. In mid-May, after her first sea trial, she revealed her top speed to be over 47-knots, yielding a 41-knot cruise at 2150; the same as her sister ship, Tarheel (Bayliss 62').
After her sea trial, she moved to the paint bay for bottom paint and boot stripe application. Now that her paint work is complete, she'll soon emerge for another sea trial.
Within Salty Tiger's interior, the salon and galley areas are closing in on completion with the installation of her "White Fusion" quartz countertops and cork floors. Cabinetry and fixtures have been installed within the galley, while fabrication of other cabinetry components for the salon continues.
The lower level is looking more and more like a completed project each day. The tackle room has received its washer/dyer and only lacks the installation of quartz countertops before custom tackle and gear nesting can begin. Cabinetry installations within the crew and master stateroom are complete, and now our crews move on to installing the headliner and wall panels.
Within the cockpit, Salty Tiger's teak mezzanine provides ample tackle and gear storage, along with a chilled, filtered water spout for convenient re-filling during a busy day of fishing. Like Blue View, Salty Tiger will also have a grill within the upper mezzanine. Our electrical crew is currently finalizing all pump room equipment wiring in preparation for her second sea-trial later this month.
