Bayliss Boatworks was built around our time spent fishing in the ocean. Years of offshore fishing pushed us into boat building, then boat building pushed us into fishing more exotic locations all over the world.
We instill this experience and planning into each custom boat we build. Christened in July, Tarheel was our first opportunity to create a boat to our very own specifications and we want to share her with the world.
Tarheel will fish the White Marlin Open in Ocean City, Maryland August 5-10, as well as the Pirate's Cove Tournament and Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament this summer.
At each tournament, we plan to hold an open house aboard Tarheel one night as a way for our friends who haven't had the opportunity to tour a Bayliss. Seeing is truly believing.
