This week were showcasing some of our of jigs from FCL Labo. There've been a big favourite of ours for over 15 years now. These hand made jigs have been proven year in, year out as superior fish catching tools in all conditions. Often imitated but never equaled, this is what we reach for when the going gets tough!

SL

The FCL Labo SL series jigs are versatile and effective for both slow and fast retrieves, covering various depths from shallow to deep blue. With a unique design, these jigs produce an awesome darting and fluttering action with a slightly tail weighted fall. This allows for a wide range of retrieves catching everything from demersals to large pelagic species!

SFS

The SFS is another very versatile jig that respond to a range of retrieves. It has a flatter fall for more hang time on the drop and more aggressive sideways dart on the retrieve. Perfect for working slow with reef fish or on a medium pace retrieve for tunas or big amberjacks.

FT

The FCL Labo FT is a slow style jig that creates a twisting/flashing action (hence the name), making it one of the more unique jigs in the FCL lineup. To fish the FT jig, use short sharp rips and long pauses to make it kick and glide out to the side and flutter, producing a great flashing shimmy action. This makes it a great choice for picking out the largest fish in schools of kingfish and amberjack on local jigging grounds. The FT jig is also very effective when working deeper grounds for pearl perch.

MN

The FCL Labo MN Jig features a darting and sliding action with a subtle shimmy on the fall. Its slim shape has a rounded nose and narrow profile allows the jig to dart out horizontally and flutter back, instead of having a wide gliding action like the VM Series.

This jig is more subtle than some in the FCL range and a more technical jigging style will be rewarded with larger fish in pressured waters.
