American DAIWA Corp. President Carey Graves accepts Executive Officer role with parent company Globeride, Inc.

With nearly 10 years at American DAIWA Corporation in senior management roles, including company President for the past four years, fishing industry luminary Carey Graves has accepted a role as an Executive Officer and Representative Director at Globeride, Inc., effective immediately. Based in Tokyo, Japan and the parent company for American DAIWA, Globeride was founded in 1958 and has sales offices and facilities around the world, the company invested in the manufacturing of fishing equipment, in addition to tennis, golf and cycle sports goods.

With his new position, Graves retains his President role for American DAIWA Corporation, along with being the Executive Officer and Representative Director for the Globeride Board of Directors for DAIWAs operations in North American, South America and Australia.
Im both humbled and honored to not only continue my role here in the United States and the Western Hemisphere for our fishing products, but also contributing to Globerides success worldwide, Graves said.
Graves joined American DAIWA Corporation in 2016 as Vice President of Sales, followed by his promotion to President in 2021. He has served multiple terms and continues to serve on the American Sportfishing Associations Board of Directors. During his time with American DAIWA Corporation, Graves oversaw the move from its longtime office and warehouse in Cypress, Calif., to a new facility in Foothill Ranch, Calif., which more than doubled its warehouse and shipping operations, along with creating the office business environment to accommodate future growth plans. Graves recently returned from Globerides 70th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Tokyo where his Executive Officer and Representative Director appointment become official.
