The UK Andrew Simpson Centres

We are extremely proud to be able to host Bart's Bash at the Andrew Simpson Centres (ASC's). The ASC's are not-for-profit watersports centres run by our Andrew Simpson Foundation team.

Over 200 participants took part in Bart's Bash at our ASC's this year and together they raised £3000!

All centres took a 1 minute silence in remembrance of Her Majesty the Queen.

Our Portsmouth centre hosted an open day where local families could have a taster of activities available for a small donation - helping to raise valuable funds. Our Birmingham team also hosted an open day for Ukrainian Refugees as part of their weekend!

Sailors of all ages
join in with Bart's Bash

h3>

Scarlett learned to sail with our ASC Portsmouth team last year on a beginner sailing week then returned through sailing clubs and an improver sailing week this summer. None of her family are sailors and she has impressed them on holiday by hiring a boat and sailing herself competently around!

This year she helmed the whole of Barts Bash and didnt come last which was her aim and she was smiling the whole time. Here is a photo of Scarlett sailing a zest in the race with Hannah (an assistant instructor) in the front of the boat.

There's still time to donate...

A huge thank you for all of the funds that have been raised so far for Bart's Bash 2022

We're so grateful for the money that is being donated to the Andrew Simpson Foundation, helping us to continue to transform lives through sailing: we are also excited to see all of the great club projects you have in store. If you're still yet to donate, please do so online through our Just Giving page or download our Paying In form and send to the ASF Head Office!
