Sea Fisheries Events:
Fishcare will have fishing information and rods available in the following areas:
- McGees Bridge, Midway Point: 10.00am - 11.00am
- Dunalley Wharf, near the bridge: 11.30am - 12.30pm
- Pirates Bay Jetty, Eaglehawk Neck: 1.00pm - 2.00pm
- Inspection Head Wharf, Beauty Point: Fishing Clinic 10.00am - 2.00pm
- Wynyard Fishing Platform: 1.00pm - 3.00pm
- Port Sorell Wharf, Try Fishing Clinic: 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Inland Fisheries events:
The Inland Fisheries Service are having a licence free day on Gone Fishing Day. All other regulations apply. Anglers Alliance Tasmania are hosting five junior angling events at the following locations:
- Frombergs Dam, Ulverstone: 10.00am - 2.00pm
- Taylors Dam, Latrobe: 10.00am - 3.00pm
- Longford Fishing Club Dam, Cressy: 10.00 - 3.00pm
- New Norfolk Anglers Junior Pond, Bushy Park: 11.00am - 2.00pm
- Miena Lodge Dam, Miena: 9.00am - 2.00pm
