Wilson Stephens Trophy

Following on from the club's Junior Disco on Wednesday 20 August, nineteen juniors took part in Overy Staithe SC's Wilson Stephens Trophy on Thursday 21 August. The trophy is for those under 17 and it was great to see such a large fleet out on the water.

The fleet comprised a mix of Lasers, Picos, Toppers and a Tera, and were set a course starting from the club line and racing out into the lagoon before returning to finish off the quay in front of assembled parents and supporters.

Sam Worsley, who has been on fire this year, won but was chased Arthur Lambert in his Topper in second place and Sam Lamont/Hugo Hodges in third. The whole fleet got round the course and enjoyed hot sausage rolls, crisps and drinks courtesy of Catherine Hicks and Sarah Worsley.
