Tickets are now on sale for SailGP's Canadian debut in Halifax on June 1-2. The ROCKWOOL Canada Sail Grand Prix will mark the official start to summer when the world's most exciting racing on water hits Halifax Harbour in just over two month's time.

With an action packed race weekend planned, fans will enjoy opportunities to meet the athletes in the fan zone on Halifax waterfront, visit the Bluenose II and watch the SailGP Inspire Racing and weCANfoil demos, as well as take part in the myriad of activities planned throughout the city.

The ten national teams (from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, France, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the United States) will be racing turbocharged F50 catamarans at upwards of 100-km/h speeds in stadium-style racing close to the Halifax and Dartmouth shorelines, promising plenty of action for fans, when racing gets under way at 4 p.m. ADT on Saturday and Sunday.

The SailGP ticket offering for Halifax includes exclusive Waterfront Reserve and Waterfront Premium, both with front row viewing within an enclosed area on the Halifax waterfront boardwalk. Join fellow fans in the Waterfront Reserve area to enjoy live commentary, race coverage on large screens, afternoon entertainment, food and beverage concessions and an official SailGP merchandise kiosk. While Waterfront Premium ticket holders will be able to watch the most exciting racing on water from another exclusive viewing area, with pre and post racing entertainment, as well as unlimited local food and drinks on offer.

With an unprecedented number of pre-sale registrations, the limited number of Waterfront Reserve and Waterfront Premium tickets for the ROCKWOOL Canada Sail Grand Prix are expected to sell quickly!

For fans wanting to get even closer to the action, there is the SailGP Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) program that enables boat owners to purchase a limited edition flag to secure a premium viewing position inside the racing exclusion zone.

There is also the opportunity to take part in exclusive Team Base Tours of SailGP's 'pit lane' at King's Wharf (Dartmouth) and witness the athletes and cutting-edge F50s up close.

The ROCKWOOL Canada Sail Grand Prix marks the first time that the Canada SailGP Team will race in home waters. Driver Phil Robertson said: "It's going to be amazing to race in Canada for the first time, in front of Canadian fans who have supported the team since inception. We can't wait to get to Halifax!"

Mirella Vitale, Senior Vice President Group Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs for ROCKWOOL said: "As title partner of the inaugural Canada Sail Grand Prix, we are looking forward to the weekend of racing in Halifax with our race team and guests. At ROCKWOOL we are committed to the UN SDG 14, Life below Water, and have an ambitious decarbonization strategy. As part of this, we are pleased to be hosting the ROCKWOOL Impact Summit and look forward to sharing our vision, as well as meeting local champions for climate action in North America."
