Whether chasing their first fish, their next trophy or glory on the tournament stage, all anglers deserve to fish with the best tackle available.

Shimano, G. Loomis and Jackall enhance success by leveraging decades of design excellence and ingenuity to craft rods, reels and lures that make every cast count. At the ICAST 2021 New Product Showcase, Shimano, G. Loomis and Jackall will reveal nine innovative offerings that elevate every angler's on-the-water experience, transforming good fishing trips into great ones.

New freshwater hard lure: Shimano World Minnow 115SP

The Shimano World Minnow 115SP redefines the suspending jerkbait by leveraging premium technologies to synthesize the ultimate bass lure. The World Minnow 115SP includes Shimano's patented FLASH BOOST technology which emits unparalleled flash while the bait is in motion and mimics the shimmer of a wounded baitfish during the pause. The lure's exclusive JET BOOST system enhances casting distance, propelling the World Minnow 115SP up to 22% farther as it travels through the air while ensuring a stable, natural posture upon water entry.

Unique SCALE BOOST finishes mimic the realistic patterns of baitfish scales utilizing an industry-exclusive composite-pitch hologram that increases the amount and complexity of light reflected through the water. The World Minnow 115SP dives to depths of four to six feet on the retrieve, suspends enticingly when paused, and exhibits an erratic side-to-side darting action to trigger aggressive bites from trophy bass. No jerkbait collection is complete without the new World Minnow 115SP. Available in a library of ten color patterns, each World Minnow 115SP is 4 half inches (115 mm.) long, weighs ? ounce (17 g.), and has an MSRP of $19.99.

New freshwater reel: Shimano Curado MGL 150

Continuing to add to the tournament-tested and dependable Curado lineup of low-profile reels, the new Curado MGL 150 offers unparalleled versatility in the lightest weight Curado to date. The perfect combination of a 150-size spool paired with MagnumLite (MGL) Spool technology, Shimano engineered the Curado MGL 150 for anglers to fish different techniques with various lure types and sizes with ease — and with greater casting distance and accuracy.

Shimano engineers built the Curado MGL 150 to handle giants with a rigid aluminum HAGANE Body and durable Cross Carbon Drag. Precision gearing lies nestled at the heart of the Curado MGL 150 with Shimano reel technologies such as X-Ship, MicroModule Gearing and SilentTune to create an unmatched reeling experience. Tournament-ready yet smooth and efficient, the Curado MGL 150 is the perfect addition to an angler's arsenal whether they are on the tournament trail or chasing their next trophy fish. MSRP: $199.99.

New freshwater rod: G. Loomis NRX+ Bass

A legendary reimagination of an iconic series of actions, the new G. Loomis NRX+ draws from more than forty years of technology, innovation, and design to meet the performance demands of today's avid bass angler. Our American-made blanks are rolled with Spiral X technology to provide ultra-fast recovery for increased casting distance, heightened sensitivity, and drastic weight reduction. We designed our custom CI4+ reel seats to maximize an angler's connection to the blank for unsurpassed bite transmission and all-day comfort.

Equipped with a hybrid guide train, NRX+ empowers anglers to make long, accurate casts for increased effectiveness on the water. We designed the full lineup of 28 rods with technique-specific actions and powers to dominate any variable or condition with a singular goal: Boost an angler's natural ability. To achieve this, we used only the most advanced technologies, construction processes, and componentry to engineer a rod that offers anglers best-in-class performance. Radically redefined, the G. Loomis NRX+ series is the culmination of our obsessive drive to provide bass anglers the most advanced fishing tools on the planet. G. Loomis NRX+ rods are available now with MSRP $525 to $625.

New saltwater reel: Shimano Spheros SW

The jack of all trades in the saltwater realm, Shimano redesigned the Spheros SW series of saltwater spinning reels to conquer both offshore and inshore waters. Now featuring Shimano's flagship Infinity Drive technology to improve pinion gear support and enhance the overall drive gear design, Spheros SW provides anglers with increased winding power under load when cranking against hard-fighting game fish. Wielding both X-Protect and X-Shield for improved water resistance for increased durability in the harsh saltwater environment, Spheros SW fortifies an IPX8 water-resistant-rated body for dependable performance.

Now available in seven different sizes, the new 14000 and 18000 sizes span the gap between 10000 and 20000 models for a broader range of applications within the Spheros SW series of reels. From jigging for groupers or amberjacks, to tossing lures at cobia and football-size bluefin tuna, or free-lining live bait to snook or striped bass, the Spheros SW series will provide dependable performance for anglers targeting prized game fish. The seven reels in the Spheros lineup have an MSRP of $139.99 to $199.99.

New saltwater rod: Shimano Terez BW

Shimano engineered the flagship Terez BW family of offshore rods with guidance from tournament-winning captains to perform at the highest level. The comprehensive lineup includes seven series of rods built to conquer any offshore species with models specifically designed for high-speed trolling, slow trolling, deep-dropping, swordfishing, bottom fishing, or live-bait fishing. Shimano constructed the Terez BW blanks utilizing premium rod technologies — Hi-Power X, Spiral X and UD Glass blank construction — to create the best-in-class durability and feel for the offshore environment.

This combination of rod technologies increases the structural rigidity of the rods so that they remain true under load while enabling anglers to efficiently transfer power through the blank for improved performance when targeting hard-fighting game fish. The Terez BW series features premium componentry with Winthrop, Fuji and Aftco guides for battle-tested performance. Slick Butt models incorporate Fuji DPS-H reel seats while Uni-Butt models are sold as blade-only, allowing anglers to customize each rod to meet their personal preferences. The complete Shimano Terez BW series includes 24 rods with an MSRP of $449.99 to $849.99.

New saltwater hard lure: Shimano Coltsniper Splash Walk

Shimano designed the Coltsniper Splash Walk with one goal: drive large predators crazy. The lure's nearly stationary walk-the-dog action keeps it in the strike zone longer, while its low-pitch knock is sure to get the attention of any large game fish — especially massive striped bass. Engineered to be much heavier in the tail section, the Coltsniper Splash Walk rests vertically when paused: An innovative design feature that increases hookup ratios and reduces the chance of a large fish missing the bait, knocking it out of the water during aggressive strikes. The Coltsniper Splash Walk incorporates Shimano's through-wire construction for added durability and a SCALE BOOST finish to give the lure a lifelike appearance. Available in six color patterns, each Coltsniper Splash Walk is 7 ¼ inches (185 mm) in length, weighs 3 ? ounces (94 g), and has an MSRP of $26.99.

New fly fishing rod: G. Loomis NRX+ T2S

You don't pick tournament days; tournament days pick you. With leaderboard glory on the line, clear a path to victory with tools forged to crush common variables. Designed for apex saltwater fly anglers, the NRX+ T2S series boasts a unique fusion of materials, technology, and innovative design to elevate angler performance under the most challenging conditions.

Dynamic Recovery Technology increases the casting distance sweet spot by providing the power, line speed, and loop stability expected from modern fast action rods without compromising feel and finesse in the short game. An all-new two-piece Tournament Configuration offers one-piece performance with the convenience of compact transportability. A functional aesthetic feature completes the package with a glare-cutting, aggressive matte black finish, specifically chosen to boost boat side eats from wary targets. Each of the five rods in the new G. Loomis NRX+ T2S series is 8'10" in length and has an MSRP of $895.

New freshwater soft lure: Jackall Bounty Fish

Jackall designed the Bounty Fish 158 to allow anglers to fish cover with a walk-the-dog action in a way that is impossible with hard baits. The soft jerkbait-style lure features a heavily ribbed section that grabs water and slows the bait down during the retrieve, keeping it in the strike zone longer to trigger aggressive bites. The Bounty Fish's unique Net-Joint System doesn't just walk-the-dog with ease, it also enables the tail portion to flutter even on a dead stick. For increased versatility, anglers can add a nail weight to the Bounty Fish 158 so that it can be fished with a slow sink to trigger additional bites. Available in six color patterns, each Jackall Bounty Fish 158 measures 6.2" long and has an MSRP of $9.99 for a pack of four baits.

New ice fishing product: Shimano Nasci 500

The new Nasci series of spinning reels answers the call for anglers demanding smoothness and durability on the ice. The Shimano cold-forged HAGANE Gear technology provides unparalleled gear durability compared to reels with diecast or machined gear construction. The spool's Propulsion Line Management System deploys line smoothly as a lure descends through the water column, returning baits to the strike zone faster. Engineered with Shimano quality and attention to detail, the redesigned Nasci 500 spinning reel performs flawlessly in every hardwater application. MSRP: $99.99.
