Shimano School returns on Tuesday, July 6, with another informative and entertaining event. JP DeRose hosts these live streaming video seminars, featuring compelling topics and special guests from across the spectrum of the fishing world. Shimano School meets every two weeks, and streams live on the Shimano Facebook Page and the Shimano North America's YouTube Channel.
Capt. Spencer Samplawski headlines this edition of Shimano School to reveal the presentations and patterns that help him put freshwater and saltwater giants in the boat. The owner of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin-based Big Bite Adventures Guide Service, Samplawski is a full-time multispecies guide that spends nearly every day chasing fish across North America. An energetic, hardworking angler with a passion for big fish, Samplawski specializes in sumo smallmouth, enormous walleye, and jaw-dropping salmon and trout on Green Bay and Lake Michigan during spring, summer and fall. During the winter months, he takes his show on the road to chase inshore and offshore trophies off the southwest coast of Florida. This is a must-attend Shimano School that every angler will enjoy.
"We spend a lot of time traveling the Upper Midwest chasing anything and everything that swims," reflects Samplawski. "I'm on Green Bay starting in March, guiding clients to the biggest smallmouth and walleye of their lives. By June, we're also running charters for king salmon, lakers, steelhead and more. In the fall, we're serving up another heaping plate of enormous walleye, plus giant smallies and heart-stopping brown trout. While the snow flies up north during the winter, we're down in Florida chasing the biggest and baddest fish that the Gulf of Mexico has to offer. If it's big and powerful, I want to catch it — and teach you how to catch it too!"
Make plans to attend Shimano School this season. We invite viewers to post questions to the Facebook and YouTube live streams, and Samplawski and DeRose will provide the answers needed to help viewers catch more supersized fish, wherever they may swim. Shimano School is in session starting at 8 PM EST on Tuesday, July 6.
