The Accura range of rods are the workhorse of the Zenaq shore casting range for hunting medium to large species. Featuring practical designs along with the highest quality materials and components, these rods have been refined over many years to be the pinnacle of rock fishing rods.

Featuring an elastic, springy tip for casting and working the lightest baits, the rod flexes more deeply with heavier loads to slingshot larger weights with ease. When fighting fish, the rod loads smoothly into the lower section of blank, giving the angler comfort while battling large fish as well as the power to lift and steer the fish around the rocks.

The Accura 95H addresses the inherent limitations of short rods, such as casting distance and the challenge of manipulating a lure close to shore, with its innovative Magic Tip, rugged butt section and the middle section that connects the two. It also takes advantage of its shorter length to deliver sharper casts, allowing for more technical lure maneuverability, improved fight control and reduced physical strain. Basically the 95H has the light springy tip of the Accura 100H with the down low power of the Accura 100HH butt section.

With this versatility and power the Accura 95H Type R is the ideal rod for chasing a variety of larger species, especially kingfish, longtail tuna, mid-size GT and Spanish mackerel. It can throw hard and flat casts with minnows and plugs in the 60g range through to stickbaits and slim poppers up around 160g. With a more open swing it can cast shore jigs right up to 230g a long way. The rod suits PE2-6 line with PE4-6 being the ideal match. It balances with Daiwa/Shimano SW reels from 8000-14000 size.

The Guide train on the Type R Accura rods is the RG system developed by Zenaq. the concept is to use a smaller first guide to choke the line spirals coming off the reel quickly, then to funnel the line through a larger number of guides than usual. This keeps the line moving straighter and more accurately during the cast, with less tip wraps. The extra contact points give greater sensitivity and responsiveness to the lure, as well as improving the line uptake when fighting a fish.

The Zenaq Accura Type R rods are the flagship models of the range, featuring the Zenaq Hexagon reel seat. The reels seat uses a composite of high strength and long-fibre carbon from Toray in a special molding machine to produce reel seats that can hold a large reel firmly without wobbling. The Hexagon reel seat also has the same shape as Zenaq's hexagon grips and a firm rubber outer that makes it comfortable to use for long sessions and does not loosen during hard fishing. Type R rods feature single wrapped guides, utilising high quality thread. Less binding gives a sharper and more responsive action from the rod for better feel, cast performance and lure action. Lastly the RG guide system is used for maximum performance in casting and responsiveness.
