The 2025 Robert H. Tiedemann Classics Regatta, hosted by the New York Yacht Club, delivered a spectacular start to this year's Classic Yacht Challenge Series.

With standout performances from Gamecock, Intrepid, and Blackwing, the event showcased both elite craftsmanship of these classics and seasoned crews navigating the shifting breezes of Narragansett Bay. Many of these iconic yachts are now headed to compete in one of our next 13 events, including the Vineyard Cup (July 12-13), the beloved series of Maine regattas, and a return to Narragansett Bay in late August for the Herreshoff Classic Yacht Regatta and the Newport Classic over Labor Day Weekend.

Each week, we'll bring you a recap of the latest event, followed by the current standings in the Classic Yacht Challenge Series. Please note that the standings for a boat's series score for an event may differ from the event's own results, as regattas sometimes group boats into classes differently than their CRF Certificate, as is the case with the Tiedemann. If you have any questions about scoring, feel free to email us at .
