Wescom Group's new sMRT Digital SARfinder MOB tracker now available

Wescom Group is delighted to announce the availability of the of the sMRT Digital SARfinder, a bridge mounted 121.5 MHz tracking and alarm system, that is designed to work seamlessly alongside Wescom Group's range of commercial distress beacons.

The sMRT SARfinder has a digital screen that will detect, display and track the location of multiple 121.5 MHz signals to aid man overboard recovery. An audible alarm is emitted as soon as the beacon is activated and a direction and distance are displayed to help locate the man-overboard. The touchscreen display allows users to easily interact with the unit, with the MOB locations clearly identifiable with drift direction data.

The sMRT Digital SARfinder can track a large number of 121.5 MHz units, in case of a mass incident, within a five-mile range.

As the sMRT AU and V300 range of AIS, DSC, 121.5 MHz units work in conjunction with the sMRT SARfinder, Wescom now provides a complete man overboard alert and tracking solution for localised rescue.

sMRT now offer a new range of intrinsically safe, approved zone 1 and zone 2, class M compliant beacons with the sMRT V300 X1 and V300 X2, offering all the award winning, user friendly functionality of the sMRT range.
