This year's NSSA National Youth Regatta returns to Bassenthwaite Sailing Club in Cumbria. It's some eleven years since Bassenthwaite last hosted this mega youth sailing event, where hundreds of youth sailors from all over the UK compete as part of regional teams.

The event is a great opportunity to meet fellow sailors, with fleet racing for ILCA, Topper and Mixed Dinghy Fleets with up to fourteen races over five days (22nd - 26th of July). Youth sailors with less racing experience are invited to join the coached Rookie Fleet.

The Bass NSSA organising committee have been working hard, planning an inclusive event for sailors of all abilities. In the evenings a schedule of social activities will help continue the comradery and fun off the water.

Thanks to Bassenthwaite Sailing Club's extensive grounds, competitors and team managers are invited to camp on-site. On-site catering will keep everyone fuelled throughout the regatta, with a breakfast, lunch and dinner food package available at the time of booking.

The Notice of Race has now been published and entry and further event information is available via our dedicated NSSA website. Please note that entries are collated by regional team managers. Please contact the NSSA for your local team manager. Discounted entry ends on the 24th of May 2024.
