Letter to the editor supportive of legislation limiting vessel speed restriction

Last week, former South Atlantic Fishery Management Council member, Dr. Kyle Christiansen wrote a Letter to the Editor of the Bryan County News in support of congressional efforts to pause NOAA's proposed vessel speed restriction and instead work on more adaptive solutions based on emerging technology.

Dr. Christiansen laid out the numerous problems with NOAA's rule and noted how its implementation could decimate coastal communities. Read here...
