A very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year to all the supporters, sponsors and competitors of the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club Gaff Rig Regatta.
Following on from the success of the 2022 Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club Gaff rig regatta we are in the final planning stages for our 2023 Gaff Rig Regatta commencing on Saturday the 3rd of June.
For the 2023 Regatta we have made a number of changes following feedback from all involved with the 2022 event. These changes are:
- The regatta will run over a weekend commencing on Saturday the 3rd of June and finish on Sunday the 4th of June.
- The race format is 3 short races per day (if possible), no drops.
- Results will be based on performance handicap calculated by the club handicapper and the club TopYacht race program.
- Briefings both days 11:15am 12:30pm start, warning signal not before 12:25 pm.
- The Regatta will be run with 2 Categories:
- Cat 1 Yachts and Dinghies over 19 feet LOA
- Cat 2 Yachts and Dinghies under 19 feet LOA
LOA: Length Over All including bow sprits, bumpkins etc

As per previous Regatta all funds raised will be donated to our Charity Sailability www.discoversailing.org.au/sailability
