After a delay of three hours waiting for the rain, wind and surf to ease, racing got underway for the second day of their Auckland Championships, at Wakatere Boating Club, on Auckland's North Shore.

Launching the 180 boat fleet into the metre high surf was quite an undertaking.

A massive five races were completed for the Opti Open/White & Starling; four for Starling Development; and three for Opti Green.

Racing will continue on Monday, the Final Day. The forecast is similar for today.
