Keep clear of big ships

Snapper are biting, to the delight of fishers, but don't forget to be aware of your surroundings:

  • Big ships operate day and night.
  • The speed of a ship can be deceptive.
  • Ships cannot stop or change course suddenly.
  • A ship's blind spot can extend for many hundreds of metres ahead.
