The IGFA Great Marlin Race (IGMR) is the world's most successful citizen science program for billfish research with over 440 satellite tags deployed by recreational anglers on marlin, sailfish, and spearfish since 2011.
The tags transmit invaluable data to our partners at Stanford University that advances our knowledge of these species to help conserve them. Check the video below on to learn more:
