Reap the benefits of out-of-water storage with Golden

by Martin Flory Group 20 Aug 2020 14:22 UTC

Boat owners desiring increased speed, improved fuel efficiency, and fewer aches and pains from scrubbing a hull know the advantages of keeping their vessels on a lift.

If their waterfront can't accommodate piles, however, they can still reap all the benefits of out-of-water storage with an Elevator Lift® from Golden Manufacturing. Installed on a pier, seawall, natural embankment or narrow canal, it holds inboard and outboard-powered boats up to 27,700kg.

Each Golden Elevator Lift is made for a specific boat and installation, whether it's a 15m offshore sportfish boat or PWC. This ensures no undue stress is placed on the hull. It also means the lift operates at maximum efficiency and safety for the individual site. Considered are such things as water depth, tidal fluctuation, and the ability to maneuver the boat.

Using the Golden Elevator Lift couldn't be easier. Employing the heavy-duty guide post bumpers, the boat is driven onto the lift. The hull is gently cradled in the carpeted wood or available aluminum bunks as it rises from the water. Then it's simply a matter of stepping from the boat onto the shore. Launching is even easier.

Built in the USA using only the highest marine-grade 6061 T-6 welded aluminum and stainless steel, Golden Elevator Lifts are engineered for conditions that regularly see heavy weather—even ice. Rugged box construction mates the drive connection and track beam. Large 8.9cm solid aluminum winders coupled with 12 Nylatron wheels on equalizer brackets ensure cable longevity and smooth operation on models configured for vessels over 4,500kg.

The muscle behind the Elevator Lift is the industry-leading, high-torque Golden Sea-Drive. Massively built, it's so reliable that in over 75,000 units manufactured, not one has ever failed. When the lift is holding a 27,700kg boat 3m off the side of a seawall, that's an important consideration.

Golden Manufacturing is the global market leader in aluminum boat lifts and the only such company to hold ISO 9001:2015 certification. Winner of numerous business and marine industry awards, it manufactures a wide range of lifts that accommodate vessels up to 108,800kg.
