When the going gets tough Sailfish gets going!

by John Willis 28 Apr 2020 21:19 UTC

It's full steam ahead at Sailfish Boats with the team utilizing this trying time to develop even better mousetraps - well tough seafaring canyon running boats anyhow!

The Ballina based manufacturing facility has been hard at work developing a fresh new model of their popular 3200 Platinum armour plated aluminium catamaran that was originally set for release at the now cancelled Sanctuary Cove and Sydney Boat Shows.

This new design has all the elements to become the ultimate rig for extended cruising and sports fishing with all the creature comforts for a small family live aboard, but with an alter ego as a true offshore adventurer.

Nothing beats the aquatic magic carpet ride of a catamaran, nor the spaciousness and stability. When it's time to put the pedal to the metal the Sailfish 3200 Platinum will get you to the hot spot quickly and comfortably, but even more importantly has the trusted seaworthiness to get you, your friends and loved ones home safely.

With gutsy performance and enormous fuel efficiencies from twin 300HP Yamaha 4-strokes fed by twin 500 litre fuel tanks and advanced twin hull design the 3200 Platinum catamaran has enormous range capabilities for intrepid adventures and long distance exploration, or perhaps just less annoying fuel stops at the marina.

The comfort levels are through the roof with exceptional ergonomics, finesse finishes and an array of options and accessories to suit every taste the Sailfish 3200 Platinum may well be your next nautical freedom machine!

Some of the major features include 3.50m beam, 200l fresh water, air conditioning, genset, hot/cold water, TV, shore power, step down toilet / shower unit with separate double berth, solar charging, Seadek flooring, galley with 2 burner stove, microwave & upright refrigerator, convertible dinette and an Alfresco style opening rear cabin window with outdoor BBQ servery unit. The cabin is fully lockable for security and the enormous open deck has all the features of a modern sportsfishing assault weapon yet an inviting character for cruising comfort.

There's another old saying that, "When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping!" for a new Sailfish 3200 Platinum catamaran of course!

This boat will be available for delivery in June and Sailfish are inviting Expressions of Interest for individual inspections. Contact Webbe Marine 02 95217944 for more information and/or visit www.sailfish.com.au.
