Few things are as frustrating to a boat owner as being becalmed or running out of fuel—or both. If a tow isn't available, paddling is the next-best solution. With Davis Instruments Telescoping Paddle/Boat Hook Combination, it's easy to store this essential piece of safety gear and have a boat hook immediately at the ready when the dock is reached.

While some states require having a paddle on board, it's a good item for any boat owner to carry. For signaling, bright orange Davis paddles command attention. And if it falls overboard, it floats.

The Telescoping Paddle/Boat Hook Combination extends to 170cm, yet collapses down to a compact 80cm. Its rugged shaft is thick, anodized aluminum tubing with clear Hard Cote that resists corrosion. The Davis twist-lock mechanism is strong enough to hold over 127kg without slipping—that's more than most humans can pull.

The Lexan polycarbonate hook of the Telescoping Paddle/Boat Hook Combination is virtually unbreakable and guaranteed for life. Plus, its bright orange safety tip is easily removed to reveal a 19mm Acme thread to attach mops and brushes.

For owners who desire an even smaller stowable size, the Davis Telescoping Paddle is ideal. At only 50cm, it extends to a very useful 115cm.
