Saturday morning everyone gathered for registration, there was little wind on Loch Tummel. As boats were set up and the excitement of a day's racing built, so did the wind. By the 10:30 briefing there was a nice breeze. Racing started on time with the first start at 12:00 GMT.

The race officer successfully completed the planned four races for the 29ers, 420s and Fevas.

With seven 29ers racing in the gusty and shifty conditions on the loch, there was plenty of close racing and exciting action to be viewed from the clubhouse, along with some great cakes and coffee.

Sunday morning as everyone made sure that they had reset their clocks to BST, there was absolutely zilcho wind on the loch, perfect for taking scenic photographs of the snow capped hills in the sunshine. The committee announced a one hour postponement, followed quite quickly by an indefinite one, before abandoning racing for the day.

Thanks to RYA Scotland, Loch Tummel Sailing Club and all the volunteers for another successful weekend.
