Following a tragic carbon monoxide poisoning death on a recreational boat last year, the states' marine safety education teams, collectively known as ANZSBEG, have been preparing new messaging to remind and educate boaters of the dangers of CO and ways in which to prevent a build up in enclosed spaces of the highly dangerous, colourless, tasteless and odourless bi-product of combustion engines.
In support of this, a new short video has been released by the safety team in Tasmania (MAST), which is well worth viewing.
