Join tournament angler Dean Silvester as he takes his first look at the all-new HDS Carbon 16: the largest Lowrance fishfinder/chartplotter ever produced.
The new 16-inch Carbon replaces an existing HDS Gen3 on the front deck of Dean’s bass boat. He still runs two 12-inch displays at the helm, side-by-side for an ultra-wide view.
Because HDS Carbon shares the same mounting profile and connections as HDS Gen3, Dean was in for an easy upgrade – a straight swap-out, with no new wiring. In just a few minutes, Dean shows how he gets his displays set up just the way he wants them.
Dean will put his new display to the test in the next round of the B.A.S.S. Australia Nation tournament series, to be held this weekend on Lake St Clair in New South Wales.
