Centre console boats have been synonymous with performance and accessibility, yet too often lacked entertaining space and onboard comfort. Aquila Catamarans has taken a different approach with its new Sport range.

With the introduction of the 45 Sport and the all-new 35 Sport, Aquila has reimagined the centre console, combining high-performance credentials with expansive social spaces, innovative design and all the benefits of a catamaran platform.

With a design inspired by modern luxury SUVs, the Aquila Sport range has been created for thrilling performance without compromising on comfort, entertaining or socialization. The result is a new generation of centre consoles that deliver something different to the norm in this segment.

45 Sport: The Ultimate Entertainment Platform

As the flagship of the Sport range, the 45 Sport showcases Aquila's ambitious vision for the centre console segment.

At the heart of the boat is an expansive aft cockpit that serves as the primary social hub. Hydraulic fold-down side terraces extend the beam from 15 to 19 feet, dramatically increasing usable deck space while bringing guests closer to the water. Flexible seating arrangements transform into large sunbeds, while an optional BBQ and television turn the aft cockpit into a true waterside entertainment lounge.

A second social zone is located forward, where full-beam seating and sun loungers create another inviting space for guests to relax. Combined with a large hardtop featuring integrated storage for watersports equipment and a concealed electric awning for additional shade, every aspect of the 45 Sport has been designed around maximizing enjoyment onboard.

The double-stepped catamaran hull, powered by twin Mercury Verado V12 600hp outboards, delivers speeds exceeding 43 knots. Aquila's carefully engineered hull reduces drag, enhances stability and provides a more comfortable ride, particularly in challenging conditions.

The 45 Sport is equally capable of extending adventures thanks to a spacious cabin features a king-size berth, private wet head, abundant natural light and premium finishes for weekend trips.

35 Sport: Big Beam Comfort in a Compact Package

Building on the success of the flagship, Aquila has now introduced the 35 Sport, bringing the same philosophy to a more accessible size without sacrificing character, performance or usability.

At 35'6" with a beam of 14'9", the 35 Sport maximizes every inch of available space. Like the 45 Sport, it is centered around three distinct social hubs: a comfortable bow seating area, an inclusive helm station and an aft entertainment zone.

The bow accommodates up to four guests in comfort, with integrated storage throughout. At the stern, a versatile U-shaped lounge transforms into a sunbed, while innovative powered seating can move side-to-side to create a wider walkway and improve circulation around the deck. Aquila's commitment to social hubs extends to the helm where four adjustable seats with armrests and bolster cushions keep captain and guests connected.

Powered by twin Mercury Verado V8 300hp engines as standard, or optional Verado V10 400hp outboards, the 35 Sport achieves top speeds between 39 and 45 knots while cruising comfortably at 25 to 34 knots.

A shallow draft opens access to beach anchorages and coastal waterways that may be difficult to reach in larger monohulls, while the wider beam creates significantly more usable deck space than many competing center consoles of a similar length.

Below deck, there is a private cabin featuring a queen-size berth with memory foam mattress, as well as a separate head and shower. Optional lithium battery systems enable off-grid climate control, further extending the boat's versatility for weekend escapes.

A New Direction for the Centre Console Market

With the 45 Sport and 35 Sport, Aquila has created something genuinely different in the center console category, combing performance, entertaining, and comfort without compromise.
