LONG CAST (LC) CONCEPT
The aggregate of DAIWA spool design technologies to maximize casting distance and minimize backlash. The spool is designed with a specific taper that reduces line friction as it leaves the spool. For baitcasters like the TATULA TW P/F 100, it involves a lightweight, high-strength A7075 aluminum spool that has lower "start-up inertia"—meaning it takes less effort to get the spool spinning at high speeds. It also stays retracted longer than a standard spool, allowing the reel to run "wide open" for as long as possible before the brakes kick in. By using thinner, stronger walls, the spool is light enough to maintain high RPMs throughout the flight of the lure. MAGFORCE-Z
