GP Watercraft work, live and breathe the mantra 'Crafted for Performance. Shaped by Experience.'
Founded in 2020, Shaun Priestley first started distributing the foiling Skeeta dinghy, while at the same time incorporating the Olympic-level coaching he'd started ahead of the Paris 2024 Games, progressing the coaching he's now been doing for over 15 years.
The business has continued to evolve, with Rory Wilson, British under-21 ILCA team coach, becoming the head GP Watercraft coach in 2024 and setting up the GP Watercraft Topper Programme in addition to multiple youth ILCA Training Groups all while helping the next generation of sailing stars rise on the world stage.
A major distribution deal with Melges followed, focusing on the exciting Melges 15, further expanding the business in 2023, with Liam Pardy driving additional dinghy distribution deals with FD Yachts and Nautivela, spares and accessories with the likes of Seldén, boat charter options and Zhik sailing kit for retail alongside Isaac Marsh supporting the Sales and distribution in other regions of the country.
It was high time to show the world how GP Watercraft has grown and what services they offer, and the brand-new website.
Easy to use, clean, responsive and eye-catching, www.gpwatercraft.co.uk shows you everything that GP Watercraft do, as well as giving you biographies of the Team and Coaches.
You can also read about their Athletes and Ambassadors such as Bermudan ILCA 6 Olympian Adriana Penruddocke, British Sailing Squad sailor Molly Sacker, 2023 ILCA U21 World Champion and British Sailing Team athlete Finley Dickinson, 2024 German Olympic ILCA 6 representative Julia Büsselberg, and more.
You can even book charter of race-ready boats, including ILCAs, Melges 15s and RIBs.
The team will be at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show this weekend, so why not pop by stand L35 and say hi!
