Commercial-free rock lobster fishing on the east coast this Easter!

Thanks Minister Gavin Pearce for listening and changing course after hearing the collective voice of fishers.

The commercial start date for rock lobster on the east coast was announced as 22 March this year. TARFish, together with commercial rock lobster council swung into advocacy action and in 24 hours, it was changed to 10 April - giving rec fishers commercial- free fishing throughout Easter on the East Coast.

Proof that our advocacy works. Thanks to all the rec fishers that showed their support!
