The Marina Industries Association (MIA) is introducing two exceptional Study Tours as part of the Marinas26 International Conference and Trade Exhibition program, giving delegates rare behind-the-scenes access to some of Australia's most impressive marinas and facilities. Participants can choose from two distinct experiences: the Whitsundays Study Tour - a two-day adventure exploring one of the world's most breathtaking cruising grounds - or the Local Study Tour, a one-day tour of the Gold Coast's newest luxury marina developments and industry-leading facilities.

The Whitsundays Study Tour (27-29 May 2026) is limited to just 30 Marinas26 delegates. Over two days, participants will visit Coral Sea Marina, Hayman Island Marina, and Hamilton Island Marina, exploring luxury destination operations, environmental best practices, and superyacht services. The itinerary features guided tours, on-water and island transfers, premium accommodation, and hosted meals - all set against the backdrop of turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and lush tropical islands. Once all places are filled, no further bookings will be accepted.

For those interested in the latest developments along the Gold Coast, this one-day tour offers a diverse itinerary highlighting new luxury developments on the Spit and Southport, as well as some of the region's most impressive marinas and facilities in Coomera.

Departing from the RACV Royal Pines Resort on 27 May 2026, delegates will visit Mantaray Marina & Residences, Main Beach Superyacht Marina, Marina Mirage, The Boat Works, AkzoNobel's state-of-the-art marine coatings facility, and the award-winning Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard, which features one of the largest dry stack facilities in the Southern Hemisphere. Along the way, participants will enjoy exclusive site access, expert insights, and a networking lunch overlooking The Boat Works' superyacht basin.

MIA CEO, Suzanne Davies said: "These tours are an unmissable opportunity for marina professionals to see excellence in marina design, operations and sustainability in action. Whether delegates choose the tropical beauty of the Whitsundays or the innovation on the Gold Coast, both tours promise valuable insights and unique networking opportunities."

Registrations for both tours are now open and are available exclusively to Marinas26 delegates.
