The RS Class Association were beyond excited when Mounts Bay Sailing Club agreed to host the Noble Marine RS100, RS500 and RS600 National Championships 2025 - we know the unique venue is in huge demand and that the club only run one major Championship a year, so to secure it for our smaller classes was the best news we'd heard for a long time.

Part of our 'bid' was the fact that after hosting the RS400s in 2023 and the RS200s in 2024, the club might like an 'easier year' running a smaller championship. Well, sorry/not sorry team MBSC, but we are now up to 60 entries across the three classes, so once again the clubhouse will be buzzing with RS sailors.

The welcoming bar, terrace with beautiful view across to the Mount, friendly volunteers, home-cooked food and affordable bar prices are certainly all a big part of what makes Mounts Bay so special for us. Add to that the superb sailing waters, legendary waves sometimes frequented by dolphins, excellent race management team and easy logistics of dinghy park, camping field and charming town and it's easy to see why we've reached 60 entries. It really is a venue that all dinghy sailors should visit at least once.

The Noble Marine RS100, RS500 and RS600 Nationals begins on Wednesday 24th September, with a group visit to the Mount and optional coaching afternoon. Racing is from Thurs 25th-Sun 28th Sept, with a total of 10 races planned. There is a weekend option for those who can't get the full time away. The social schedule is a laid back one, allowing plenty of time to discuss the day's racing, view the photos on screen and catch up with friends. Highlights will be the Commodore's Reception and Championship Dinner.

60 is great, but we've room for more. Though we know we can't match the RS200s 129 boats, it would be great to beat the RS400s 68! So if you sail an RS100, an RS500 or an RS600, you only live once - enter here!
