Sea.AI is making waves at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2025 with the official U.S. launch of Watchkeeper, its newest safety system.

Watchkeeper leverages Sea. AI's proprietary database of millions of annotated marine objects to help boaters see hazards and avoid accidents.

Visitors to Booth #621 in the Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square will also get an exclusive real-time look at Sea.AI's technology in action courtesy of an interactive live video feed.

Unparalleled security, safety, and surveillance

Palm Beach is recognized as a premier superyacht hub, so it is an ideal setting to highlight Sentry, Sea.AI's flagship 360 degrees AI-powered perimeter surveillance system.

Designed for large yachts and commercial vessels, Sentry provides real-time tracking of persons overboard, floating hazards, unlit objects, and unauthorized approaches, even in complete darkness.

"With Sentry, yacht owners and captains can see, identify, and track everything happening around their vessel, day or night, docked or under way," said Marcus Warrelmann, CEO of Sea.AI. "Sentry is the most advanced maritime machine vision system available today."

Sea.AI is also showcasing Brain, an innovative add-on that allows vessels to easily upgrade their existing thermal cameras to integrate AI-powered object detection and collision avoidance with automatic alarms. Recently nominated for the prestigious DAME Awards.

The powerful Brain detects small objects, including persons overboard, and offers real-time alerts to enhance situational awareness, ensuring safer navigation in all conditions.

Brain brings AI detection of floating hazards to existing thermal cameras that may not be fully effective if the user is not actively monitoring them or if contrast is insufficient for the human eye. Unlike human vision, AI analyzes each pixel, detecting what might otherwise go unnoticed.

Introducing Watchkeeper: affordable AI-Powered collision detection

Making its official U.S. debut, Watchkeeper brings affordable, AI-powered collision detection to recreational boaters, offering an accessible safety upgrade for motorboats and fishing boats of all sizes.

"Our goal with Watchkeeper is to bring advanced safety technology to more boaters, at a price point that makes sense for a broad range of applications," said Marcus Warrelmann, CEO of Sea.AI. "Collisions are the 'first event' in more than half of all boating accidents and injuries. With automated real-time alerts, Watchkeeper is your extra set of eyes on the water, working in all light conditions and sea states."

Starting at just $4.999, Watchkeeper utilizes a state-of-the-art 4K low-light camera with an ultra-wide 135 degrees field of view, built-in GPS, and the latest Sea.AI software for object recognition. For boaters who need full night-vision capabilities, a version with integrated long-wave infrared thermal cameras is also available.

Let's meet!

Visitors to Booth #621 can experience Sea.AI in real time with a live video feed from Portugal, where the system will be actively scanning the water to allow boaters to see how AI-enhanced situational awareness works in practice.

"Palm Beach is the perfect stage to bring our technology to the U.S. market, introduce Watchkeeper to the U.S. market," Warrelmann concluded. "We're excited to demonstrate how Sea.AI's technology is setting a new standard in maritime safety—one that's accessible, intuitive, and built for real-world conditions."

NOTE: Visit Sea.AI at Booth 621, Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square, during the Palm Beach International Boat Show from March 19-23, 2025, to see the future of collision detection, security, and real-time object tracking.
