In response to sustained business growth, Ancasta International Boat Sales has restructured its sales team, implementing a series of strategic internal promotions and new appointments to enhance operational efficiency and market presence.
"This is an exciting time for Ancasta as we continue to build on our success and strengthen our position in the industry," says Nick Griffith, Managing Director of Ancasta Group.
"The growing demand for our diverse selection of world-class power and sail brands has presented a valuable opportunity to refine and enhance our sales operations, ensuring they are as agile and effective as possible.
"As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering talent and driving professional growth, this strategic restructuring has led to well-earned internal promotions, role expansions, and the recruitment of new expertise to further enhance our team.
"Ancasta is privileged to have some of the most experienced yacht brokers and industry specialists in the sector, and we are delighted to support their career progression as our business continues to evolve and expand."
Stuart Brotherton - Sales Network Director
Stuart Brotherton has been promoted to Sales Network Director, assuming responsibility for the management and development of Ancasta's 22 brokerage offices across the UK and Europe.
Bringing extensive marine industry sales experience, Stuart joined Ancasta in 2015 as Brand Manager for Beneteau Sail, later expanding his role in 2020 to include Beneteau Power.
In his new position, Stuart will also drive the development of Ancasta's franchise network, strengthening the company's footprint across Europe. Additionally, he will play a pivotal role in supporting new boat brand managers across Ancasta's portfolio of premium power and sail brands.
James Douch - Beneteau Sail Brand Manager
James Douch succeeds Stuart as Beneteau Sail Brand Manager.
Joining Ancasta in 2015 as a broker in the Lymington office from a career across various sectors of the marine industry, including helming the RNLI Lymington Lifeboat, James progressed to Brokerage Office Manager.
In his new capacity, James will focus exclusively on new boat sales within Beneteau's renowned range of cruising and performance sailing yachts. His role will involve strengthening Ancasta's long-standing relationship with Beneteau while leading a team of brand specialists across the wider sales network.
Sam Room - Beneteau Power Brand Manager
Beneteau Power brand management will now be overseen by Sam Room, who currently serves as Brand Manager for Prestige Motor Yachts.
By expanding his role with the addition of Beneteau Power, Sam reinforces his position as Ancasta's in-house authority on high-end powerboat sales.
Since joining Ancasta as a broker at the Port Solent office in 2016, Sam has steadily advanced through the company, becoming Brokerage Office Manager in 2017 before being promoted to Prestige Brand Manager in 2020.
Oliver Windsor - Lymington Brokerage Office Manager
The Lymington Brokerage Office Manager role has been assigned to Oliver Windsor, who joined Ancasta in 2021 as a broker at the Port Hamble office.
Holding a master's degree in international management, Oliver has developed expertise in client relations, sales, and business management through high-level internships in both the UK and overseas.
His combined skills and passion for the marine sector perfectly position him to lead the Lymington brokerage team.
Further recruitment and expansion
Ancasta is currently recruiting a new sales broker for the Port Hamble office to replace Oliver, as well as additional sales brokers to strengthen its teams at Port Solent and Noss on Dart. These new appointments will be announced in due course.
