Excess Catamarans is excited to announce the appointment of 38 South Yacht Sales as the brand's second official dealer in Australia. This expansion of its international dealer network follows recent partnerships with NextWave Yachting in Hong Kong and Primus Marine in Thailand.

38 South Yacht Sales will represent the full range of Excess catamaran models and will be exclusively responsible for the states of Queensland and Victoria in Australia. Meanwhile, Flagstaff Marine, the brand's long-standing partner, will continue to serve as the exclusive representative of Excess Catamarans in New South Wales.

This strategic move aims to strengthen the brand's presence in one of the most mature markets in the Asia-Pacific region, while also addressing the growing demand for innovative and segmented catamarans. Excess is enhancing its ability to provide Australian customers with a more personalized and detail-oriented ownership journey, from the moment they step into a dealership through to after-sales support.

"I am delighted to welcome 38 South Yacht Sales on board to represent Excess catamarans in Queensland and Victoria. Rohan's vast multihull sailing experience and strong business acumen will be a great addition to our network in Australia. This network will continue to be strongly supported by our long-standing partners, Flagstaff Marine in New South Wales. With the brand-new Excess 13 on order with 38 South Yacht Sales, and the Excess 14 recently touching down in Sydney with Flagstaff, all the pieces are coming together to see Excess Catamarans reach new heights down under. " - Said Cosmas Grelon, Excess & Lagoon Catamarans Asia-Pacific Sales Manager

"We have been enthusiastic about becoming an Excess dealer since the brand was first launched, so I am delighted to receive the opportunity to work with Flagstaff Marine to represent Excess Catamarans here in Australia." - Said Rohan Veal, Managing Director, 38 South Yacht Sales

"The partnership between 38 South and Flagstaff Marine will enable us through our expanded network of offices, to deliver a strong representation for the Excess brand in Australia." - Said Graham Raspass, Founder Flagstaff Marine
