7th Portugal Grand Prix at Vilamoura Sailing - Round 2 Preview

The 7th edition of the Portugal Grand Prix - Round 2 is officially under way, reaffirming its status as a must-attend event in the international dinghy sailing circuit. From February 18 to February 22, Vilamoura Sailing welcomes an elite fleet of sailors competing in the ILCA 6 (Men and Women), ILCA 7, 49er, 49erFX, and Mixed 470 classes.

This prestigious regatta holds a 100-point grade from World Sailing, underscoring its importance on the global sailing calendar.

The event will feature an impressive fleet of 266 boats, 341 sailors, and 80 coaches, promising an exciting and competitive atmosphere on the water.

Today marked the official registration of sailors, with an impressive line-up of boats, athletes, and coaches preparing for an intense week of high-performance racing.

Vilamoura Sailing, known for hosting world-class events, continues to set the benchmark in sailing competitions.

With ideal wind and weather conditions, the venue ensures a top-tier experience for both athletes and spectators.
