Michael Neal's career began with an Earl Bentz-built boat as he fished alongside his uncle, Tennessee River legend Rogne Brown.
Neal has since carved out an illustrious career as one of the top anglers in the world, earning respect and admiration throughout the fishing community. Known for his tenacity and consistent performance on the water, Neal's homecoming to Caymas Boats is a testament to the bond forged through shared values of excellence, precision, and innovation.
He secured his first major victory at the 2021 MLF Bass Pro Tour Stage Seven on Lake St. Clair, setting a Championship Round record with 168 pounds, 11 ounces of smallmouth bass. In 2021 and 2022, Neal clinched back-to-back Tackle Warehouse Pro Circuit Angler of the Year titles, becoming the third pro to achieve consecutive AOY honors. He continued his winning streak with a victory at Stage Seven of the 2024 Bass Pro Tour on the St. Lawrence River.
Beyond his on-water achievements, Neal operates Real Deal Tackle in Dayton, Tennessee, contributing to the local fishing community.
"I'm thrilled to be back where it all started," said Neal. "Coming onboard with Earl Bentz and Caymas Boats has felt like a homecoming for me. While I have only had my boat for a short period of time, I am extremely impressed with how well my CX 21 handles rough water, and the fit and finish of the boat is second to none.
