Benno's connection to fishing started when he was just 11, after his dad introduced him to Exmouth's waters. He fell in love with the place instantly, and from then on, there was no turning back.

Now, running his own operation with his wife Sasha. Ben spends more than 250 days a year guiding others in one of Australia's most diverse and challenging fisheries.

As the solo guide behind Ningaloo Sportfishing Charters in Exmouth, Ben takes on everything himself - from guiding clients to maintaining gear, prepping boats, and tackling whatever the day throws at him. It's tough, relentless work, but it's exactly what he's built for.

We follow Ben as he chases mangrove jacks, queenfish, and other species across Exmouth's incredible waters.

From its rugged coastline to pristine reefs, this place has it all - and Ben knows every inch of it.

This series is about more than fishing. Its about telling the stories of the guys who are out there 250+ days a year, working in a relentless, unforgiving saltwater environment to make a living.
