AIMEX and Superyacht Australia join the MIA in returning to the Singapore Yachting Festival

The Marina Industries Association (MIA), The Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and Superyacht Australia are pleased to announce their collaboration at the Singapore Yachting Festival, taking place from 10 - 13 April 2025 at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. Whilst MIA, AIMEX and Superyacht Australia have participated in previous editions, this marks the first time the two bodies have combined at the event, strengthening the Australian presence in the region.

Singapore's reputation as the gateway and centre of Asia's marine industry positions the Singapore Yachting Festival as a pivotal platform for developing regional and international marine and marina industry connections whilst showcasing world-class yacht builders, water-sport innovations, and lifestyle brands to a growing Asian market.

For the first time since the pandemic, the event will reintroduce a landside exhibition component alongside its renowned marina-based displays of boats and related marine businesses. Recognising the value of this opportunity, MIA and AIMEX/Superyacht Australia will collaborate to host both an Australian Stand and a Marina Industry Stand.

This collaboration aims to create a central hub for Australian marine and marina industry businesses, uniting members as a collective, fostering connections with targeted markets, and providing enhanced support throughout the event. In addition, The Singapore Yacht Festival organisers have committed to providing targeted marketing opportunities and facilitating connections for attending members to assist reignite this component of the event, further enhancing the value of participation.

Ahead of the festival, the Southeast Asia Yachting Conference will take place on 8 - 9 April 2025, attracting key marine and marina industry stakeholders from the region. Moderated by Wicky Sundram CMP, Executive Director of Phuket Boat Lagoon, the conference will explore the latest trends, innovations, and challenges shaping Southeast Asia's marine sector.

This joint initiative by the MIA, AIMEX and Superyacht Australia underscores their commitment to providing greater opportunities and representation for their members in the dynamic and growing Southeast Asian market.
