Plymouth is already getting ready for their annual Sailing Race Week. Devon's picturesque coastline will be the backdrop for another exhilarating Sailing Regatta 10-13th July 2025. The Club is looking forward to welcoming experienced sailors and those wanting to get into racing.

Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a curious newcomer, this event offers a unique opportunity to test your skills, make new friends, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Devon's stunning waters.

Plymouth Race Week is part of the renowned South West of England Regatta circuit incorporating Falmouth Week, Royal Torbay Regatta and Dartmouth Sailing Week. Hosted by the Royal Western Yacht Club of England, it will be providing competitive racing with a full shore side social program to make this a key regatta in the summer programme.

The event will begin with the Plymouth Gin Sponsors Race as a warm up to the main event, followed by three days of competitive racing for Classes IRC, VPRS, YTC and J24. All the top racing South West teams will be there along with the cruiser classes. The event is also an ideal opportunity for the J24s to have a lead up event prior up to their Plymouth World Championships in September 2025.

Plymouth Race Week is a perfect opportunity to combine a competitive sailing regatta along with some leisure time spent cruising the wonderful coastline of South Devon. Peter Wanstall, Race Director for next year's event said, 'Plymouth Race Week has been a key sailing event in the south west for many years, it has a great venue on and offshore and excellent opportunity for some highly competitive racing. The Royal Western Yacht Club of England is looking forward to welcoming old friends and new for some good sailing.

'Take advantage and lock into the discounted Early Bird entry fee, with 100% money back guarantee if you cannot make it. We look forward to seeing you!'
