Despite a gloomy start, the 29er Eurocup Finals are off to an exciting start at Fraglia Vela Riva, with 130 teams from 15 nations competing on the waters of Lake Garda.

Although the Ora wind was weaker than expected, the race committees managed to complete multiple races across the four fleets.

Leading the standings are Dutch duo Lenny Hofman and Jules Vidor, tied at the top with Hungarian team Soma Kis-Szölgyémi and András Sámuel Juhász. France and Poland are also making strong showings, with Italy's top crew, Giuseppe Montesano and Enrico Coslovich, currently in sixth place.

More qualifying races continue tomorrow! For a full race recap, visit the 29er website.
