P Class: Five sailors selected to represent North Harbour

The North Harbour Tanner Trials are complete after two cracking days of sailing at Wakatere Boating Club.

Wakatere had six sailors entered and Murrays Bay Sailing Club had 13, meaning five sailors could be selected to represent the North Harbour province.

Hamish Brown and Arthur Rebbeck from Wakatere qualified top, followed by Nathan Soper, Finloe Gaites and Blake Batten from Murrays Bay.

WBC sailors George Renall, Lucas Kandziora and Elsi Carryer all new to P's showed great potential.

The 2025 Tanner Cup will be contested 6-8 January 2024 at Charteris Bay.
