The destination for the Marinas26 International Conference and Trade Exhibition (Marinas26) has been announced as the Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast.

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) made the announcement to its members ahead of releasing it publicly in its usual show of support of its membership. President Andrew Chapman said, "The event remains timed to follow the 2026 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) so delegates can enjoy a day or two at the show ahead of Marinas26, which will kick off with our customary Welcome Reception event on Sunday 24th after SCIBS closes. Two full days of conference and exhibition will follow on 25-26 May, concluding with a Gala Dinner. The Study Tour will take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, and will include exciting new marina facilities to explore.

The MIA's biennial conference and exhibition has become a must attend event for marina owners, operators and suppliers across the Asia Pacific region. Close to 400 delegates attended Marinas24, which was held in Brisbane earlier this year. It provides delegates with the most efficient and effective way to meet with suppliers, get up to date with the latest range of products and services available on the market, network with industry peers and remain informed of industry trends, changes and innovations.

Commenting on the selection of the venue, MIA CEO Suzanne Davies said, "Marinas24 was such a huge success, and there was a temptation to repeat it, but as this event only takes place every two years, we want to ensure delegates are provided with a different experience, new networking opportunities and leave feeling informed and motivated. There are few hotels in the country now that can accommodate our event due to the growing size of our trade exhibition, but Royal Pines Resort will enable us to expand while retaining the intimacy of a single venue where everyone remains together."

The MIA announced the venue even earlier this year, given the significant growth of the event in recent times, particularly the exhibition. In addition to delegates, Marinas24 attracted a record number of exhibitors, with the exhibition space close to being sold out within months of the venue being announced. "It is important to get this information to market as quickly as possible so those wishing to attend and exhibit can confidently plan their attendance", said Davies.

The Royal Pines Resort is also a great place for delegates to take their families, with easy access to the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, theme parks, and nature reserves. The resort itself offers an incredible array of leisure activities, including swimming pools, play equipment, sporting grounds, a championship golf course, tennis, and an incredible day spa.

A full Exhibitor Prospectus will be available in November; however, exhibitor Expressions of Interest are encouraged now by emailing Silvia Jura at . Delegate registration will open 25 May 2025, exactly one year prior to Marinas26.
