The Monaco Yacht Show is the showcase event for innovation in the superyacht industry and as the global leader in high-performance composite rig technology for luxury yachts, Southern Spars is excited to attend again in 2024.

Monaco offers a prime opportunity to connect with trusted partners from across the industry. With yachts getting larger and more ambitious with each passing year, and with another 12 months of transformative projects under its belt, Southern Spars is eager to share recent achievements and provide insights into upcoming projects that will shape the future of yachting.

Southern Spars Breakfast Meeting 2024

Guests attending this exclusive, invitation only, event will discover the latest product innovations and developments within the group, with the overarching industry theme “standardise to optimise” forming the backbone of discussions.

Southern Spars will share details of its development of a modular rig design concept to allow naval architects a choice of rigs with standard features that will allow a semi customisable yet economic rig option. The latest developments in our DynaRig products will also be highlighted, along with some further insights on our three current DynaRig projects in build – including one for the world’s largest sailing catamaran.*

America’s Cup Innovation

With this year’s Monaco Yacht Show coinciding with the 37th America’s Cup, which features rigs and rigging supplied by Southern Spars and sister company Future Fibres to all three AC regatta events (the Americas Cup, The Youth Americas Cup, and the Women’s America’s cup), Southern Spars is delighted to welcome Bruno Dubois, Team Principle of Orient Express Racing, as the keynote speaker at the Southern Spars breakfast.

Exciting Product launch from Future Fibres yielding significant weight savings

Standing rigging is an integral part of every rig package and Southern Spar’s sister company, Future Fibres, will also be in attendance at the show. Future Fibres’ passion for innovation is one of the reasons behind its leading position in the market and it is excited to share details of its very latest product innovation. A brand-new type of rigging yielding a weight saving of 20% over the composite rigging options available to the market today, it represents a significant step forward for today’s increasingly weight sensitive superyachts.

Come and meet the team to discuss all these developments and more with experts from the Southern Spars group at Booth QH1, Quai Hirondelle, 25 – 28 September 2024.
