The Rapala CrushCity Heavy Hitter was developed here in Australia by Australian anglers to stand up to our aggressive predators. Originally available in a 4inch model Rapala has introduced 2 new sizes this year, a 5.5inch and 3inch Model.

Although these new additions are just a size extension Rapala has had to do numerous body modifications during the testing phase to make sure the new additions fit into the CrushCity range.

The Heavy Hitter is known for its exceptional body roll coupled with a bite enticing side to side sway from the paddle tail, these new sizes are no exception. The new sizes of the Heavy Hitter have allowed anglers to target more species, with the smaller one ideal for species like Flathead, Bass and smaller estuary predators. The 5.5inch has opened the possibilities to anglers to target large predators like Murray cod, Barramundi, and Mulloway.

Made from highly durable Super T.P.E. material and infused with both salt and baitfish scent to improve both the appeal of the plastic. Rigged on a standard jig head the Heavy Hitter is perfect for fishing open water, around structure or jigged near the bottom. If you are fishing heavy cover, the Heavy Hitter can be rigged with a weedless hook to target predators deep in the snags. Due to the buoyancy of the Super T.P.E. material the Heavy Hitter can even be used as a top water lure when rigged unweighted.

If you haven't tried the Heavy Hitter make sure you head into your local CrushCity dealer and grab a pack.
