Raymarine - global leader in high-performance marine electronics for the recreational boating, marine first-responder and law-enforcement markets - recently announced it has signed an exclusive sponsorship with Bluewater Movements, Inc. to be the exclusive electronics sponsor for the Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit Summer Series for 2025 and 2026. This arrangement is an extension of Raymarine's multi-year sponsorship of the Bluewater Movements Sailfish Series, making Raymarine the exclusive sponsor of both saltwater sportfishing events, based in South Florida.
The Pompano Beach Saltwater Circuit is a tournament trail that takes place annually in from May to August. Fishing for dolphin, wahoo, kingfish, tuna and cobia, the competition is organized into three events. Leg 1, the Saltwater Shootout, occurs in May, followed by Leg 2, the Saltwater Slam in June; and Leg 3 of the series, the Saltwater Showdown, takes place in August. Teams compete for a $500,000 purse.
"Based on the success and impact with Raymarine's sponsorship of the Sailfish Series, adding our commitment to the Saltwater Circuit Summer Series was an easy decision," said Jamie Dery, Vice President, Raymarine. "Beyond the promotional value these events provide, we also have the opportunity to build relationships with some of the world's best sportfishing captains and crews, which is a key ingredient to the future success of Raymarine."
Bluewater Movements, Inc. is a sports marketing company, based in South Florida, the sportfishing capital of the world. Bluewater Movements has spent the past 27 years building some of the most successful competitive fishing events in the sport. Their background in tournament fishing coupled with expertise in event marketing is unmatched in the industry.
